Sure Dr. Seuss and his creative works will likely always be staples in homes that have a deep love for the imagination, but the fun doesn’t have to stop at the end of “Yurtle the Turtle.” Not only has “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas” become intrinsically tied to the meaning of Christmas, but Dr. Seuss has also made a huge mark on the big screen.

Who will host and judge the Dr. Seuss Baking Challenge?

If your age puts you in the millennial category then you are already familiar with the new Dr. Seuss baking show host, Tamera Mowry-Housley. Not only has the actress starred in the 1990s classic sitcom “Sister, Sister” but she’s been in countless movies such as “The Hot Chick” and “Rebounding” (per IMDb). Mowry-Howsley also won an Emmy for “outstanding entertainment talk show host” with fellow co-hosts of the talk show “The Real” in 2018. Fans of the actress were ecstatic to see her newest role on the “Dr. Seuss Baking Challenge” when she posted the details on her Instagram page.

Mowry-Howsley will be joined by judges Clarice Lam and Joshua John Russel who both have extensive histories involving the wizardry of pastry expertise. Clarice Lam has attended both Le Cordon Blu and The French Culinary Institute, ran a bakery, was the opening pastry chef of Kimika, a restaurant in Manhattan’s NoLita neighborhood, and even won a “2021 National Oreo recipe contest” (via Clarice Lam’s website). Not only has “Dessert Professional Magazine” named Joshua John Russell one of the top ten cake designers in the U.S. but he’s also had numerous appearances on “Food Network Challenge” and currently works as an educator for Craftsy (per You’ve Been Desserted). With a lineup like this, baking show fans are poised to have a fun time watching this trio of expert judges critiquing these one-of-a-kind cakes with Tamera Mowry-Howsley leading the way.
